About
Questwave started as a group chat between three friends who kept sending each other screenshots of mobile games at two in the morning. At some point we decided the notes deserved a proper home, so here we are. No corporate backing, no marketing team telling us what to praise.
We play on our own phones, with our own thumbs, in the same subway rides and lunch breaks as everyone else. That matters, because a game that shines on a demo reel can feel completely different after the tenth hour of actual play. We care about pacing, about whether the progression respects your time, and about whether a story keeps you coming back.
When we pick a game to cover, we look for something with a hook. Sometimes it's a clever combat loop, sometimes a world that feels lived in, sometimes just a control scheme that finally gets touch input right. We skip anything built purely to drain your patience.
Every review reflects one editor's honest opinion after real playtime. If we didn't like something, we say so. If we changed our mind after an update, we say that too.
